Monday 19th April

A busy week last week and a lot of ash lying on the 17th green but not of the volcanic type. It was from a few fires on the neighbouring Burnside course.

On Friday, we brushed greens and approaches.

We then verti-cut at 3mm and greens and approaches were then cut behind at 4.3mm and 7mm.

The holes were changed behind all the cutting.

On Friday, we also found time to spray fairway bumps with seaweed and wetting agent.
The hydroject was out in force again.

Today, greens were cut(4.3mm), holes changed, bunkers raked, semi-rough cut and fairways were brushed and cut at 9mm.
