On Wednesday, i was at Muirfield for a course visit
and Renaissance. Two great courses with a lot of fine grasses.
Great views.
Back to Carnoustie, we managed to get the greens overseeded. The weather was against us with frost delaying our efforts a few of the mornings and of course the rain.
Friday morning was a washout. All courses were closed due to flooding.
Even the Toro sheds were flooded, we had to evacuate all the machines.
Even Herbie had to leave the car park!!
Saturday, we started the clear up mission. 15 holes open.
Bunker pumps out
and we hired a couple of pumps.
Sunday, the verti-drains were out on wet fairways. Course was back to 18 holes.
