Friday 2nd July

Its the day every greenkeeper in Scotland has been dreading.....the school holidays!!!!!

Divots everywhere, pitchmarks not repaired, scuffs on the greens, but we love them really!!

After a really heavy shower of rain this morning(good for the course), it turned out to be a really nice day.

Today, greens hand cut and rolled, fairway low areas were cut with the triples at 6.5 mm, holes changed, bunkers raked and markers moved.

Hydroject work was on-going

And after cutting the greens, some of the guys went out spraying for weeds.

A snail hanging on for life.

The young birds in the bin are starting to grow a bit bigger.

Tomorrow see's the start of hand cutting at the weekend.
